To deliver this, the BWA software creates a highly compressed index data structure for your chosen InfoCubes that are loaded into the appliance memory. User queries are then processed entirely in memory with results delivered back to the BI analytic engine. The appliance places the accelerator functionality within a ‘blade system’ equipped with a 64-bit Intel processors which is easily integrated into the existing BI infrastructure of SAP NetWeaver (minimum release 2004s).
High performance results are delivered by creating fully compressed index data structures for your chosen InfoCubes that are loaded and processed entirely “in-memory” with results delivered back to the BW analytical engine.
