With SAPs release of the High Performance Analytic Appliance, SAP HANA, I wanted to know...
How fast is SAP HANA?

Or
To calculate the total mass of all of the stars in the Milky Way...in one second.
During testing for HANA we ran queries against 460 billion rows of data, in less than one second; which is roughly equivalent to each of these examples.’
