Novell has taken the wraps off its last three months work bolstering its reseller numbers as the vendor continues to reconfigure its channel.
The list of the latest resellers to sign up with vendor includes Kavanagh, Centiq, Insight, Bytes Technology Group, Everett, CMS, Kelway, Morse and Syan.
Novell has already announced the signing of Repton earlier in the year as it worked its way through potential candidates looking for those that can add value.
Earlier this year in a profile with MicroScope the UK country manager Jacqueline de Rojas and channel head Jill Henry talked about bringing the vendor back to winning ways with the channel taking a major role in that transformation.
In reference to the last few months signing Jill Henry said in a statement that it wanted to work with partners with the ability to complement the vendor's strategy across its various products sets.
"The UK is a key growth market and we continue to make significant investments to ensure we have the right partner sales and delivery capacity to support our clients. Our partners are at the core of our four business focus areas; Linux, Identity & Security Management, Systems Resource Management and Workgroup" she said.
One of the points Novell is pushing is the benefits of partnership with a programme that includes training, support and lead generation.
In a statement, Chris Hibbert, SAM general manager at Bytes Technology Group, said that the support was attractive but it was supporting a stance that was based around open standards: "There are both immediate and long-term benefits to be gained from incorporating open standards-based techn9ology into IT initiatives".
