IBM have issued the following bulletin for POWER6 systems with 12X I/O PCIe drawers attached. If you need some help checking/updating your system please get in touch.
System Firmware Recommendation for Power 6 Systems with F/C 5802 or 5877 drawer (in a 19" rack), or F/C 5803 or 5873 drawer (in a 24"rack), attached
Client Care, Development and Product Engineering are recommending that all clients with Power 6 Servers and Feature Codes 5802 or 5877 drawer (in a 19" rack), or 5803 or 5873 drawer (in a 24"rack), attached to update their system firmware to the following levels:
For our 340 release level clients:
01EH340_112 & 01ES340_112 for high end systems
01EM340_116 for mid-range systems
01EL340_116 for entry level systems
For our 350 release level clients we are recommending that they install service pack 2 with a targeted release date of March 3rd.
The above referenced levels provide critical fixes that will increase the reliability and availability of these systems when concurrently applied.
