- Port activation features enable “pay-as-you-grow” upgrades from a single 24 port switch to a stacked switch 64 port fabric
- Each device port can auto-negotiate to 1, 2 or 4 Gbps speed depending on the speed of the device at the other end of the link
- Each 10 Gbps ISL port supports copper or optical X2 transceivers for switch stacking or edge switch attachment to Cisco MDS 9500 directors
- Dedicated 4 or 10 Gbps bandwidth per port is designed to support full line speed performance
